Let the Dime Decide

Let the Dime Decide
(Xillus Xavier)
Emerging from my denims' depths
where linty creatures lie:
A coin to use, to flip and choose
the way for you and I.
The tiniest of a tinny mint
(Of borders, not of worth)
shall fly from off my forceful thumb
and somersault to earth.
Depending on the side that lands,
a grin or frown I'll show.
If Roosevelt can see the sky,
I win and left we'll go.
But if the darkness of the ground
and grass impedes his sight,
then I have lost the argument
and we'll be turning right.
So now we'll end this small debate
by making Fate our guide.
To see which way we're heading next
we'll let the dime decide.

Well said. Often our lives are determined by chance, why not by a coin?
